Mansour Alsaleh received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from King Saud University (1999), his M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa (2006), and his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Carleton University (2011). Prior to pursuing his master studies, Mansour spent four years in industry working in data security. His research interests lies in security and privacy issues in computer networks and systems. His work has spanned a range of topics in network security (intrusion detection and prevention systems, network scan detection, network security data visualization, and network protocol security), web security, authentication, applied cryptography, e-privacy, identity federation frameworks and identity management. His current research interests include web security, cloud security, and leveraging machine learning to practically address some selected security problems in operational real-world environments. He is currently a research assistant professor at KACST in Riyadh.
