Linsen Chong is a Ph.D. Student in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at MIT. His research includes traffic flow theory, real time traffic signal control and ITS. Before he joined MIT, he was a graduate research assistant at Virginia Tech Transportation Signal Systems Lab and Virginia Tech Transportation Institute. He holds a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Southeast University, China and a master degree in Transportation from Virginia Tech. His current interest is in solving large scale transportation network control problem by using innovative interdisciplinary research methodologies.
