Ebrahim Balghonaim

Ebrahim joined the CCES team in November 2011 and has since been working on the economic and uncertainty modeling of the Sustainable Infrastructure Planning System (SIPS) project. His role in the team addresses the financial side of the project by linking infrastructure investments into their particular social and material utility and impact.

Previously, Ebrahim worked in derivatives trading, management consulting, and asset management. An engineer by training, Ebrahim's academic experience ranges from Management and Economics to Probability. Ebrahim received his Sc.B. degree in Electrical Engineering and Science with a Humanities concentration in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in June 2009. He was ranked 9th in Nation-wide Secondary School examination standings upon graduating from High School.
